Built in the cockpit, not a boardroom
I started my PPL(H) with a notebook, three spreadsheets, and a vague sense of how it was going. None of it told me what I actually wanted to know: am I improving, what should I work on next, and when will this be done?
So I built the thing I wanted. Every feature here exists because I needed it on a real training day. My instructors noticed, and asked whether their other students could use it too. That is why you are reading this.
Questions
- Is it free?
- Yes, it is free to use.
- Is it only for EASA students?
- Today the syllabus, subjects and hour minimums follow EASA PPL(H). It is built for helicopter students, and that focus is the point. You can edit subjects and exercises to match your own school.
- Is there an iPhone app?
- There is nothing to install. Heli School runs in any phone browser, and the layout is built for a small screen.
- Does my school need to be involved?
- No. This is your personal training companion. You can share what you want with your instructor, and nothing is sent to anyone automatically.
- What happens to my data?
- It stays yours. It is stored in Europe, never sold, and you can delete your account and everything in it at any time.
